These playing cards feature different types of watercraft though the ages.

Until the development of reliable roads, rivers were widely used as inland highways, as were the later man-made canals, allowing relatively easy travel by boat over long distances. But as people and nations sought to explore beyond their own lands, and trade with others overseas, watercraft had to become bigger and stronger, to withstand the unpredictable and often dangerous nature of the oceans of the world.

This deck of 54 illustrated playing cards tells the fascinating story of water transport as humans learned to conquer the rivers, lakes and seas of our planet. From dugout canoe to paddle steamer, barge to bathyscaphe, sail-powered clipper to solar-powered catamaran, this pack brings a new dimension to all popular card games for all ages.
