‘Fireflow’ by Mathmos is the first tea-light powered lava lamp

The lava bottle is suspended within a mouth blown glass which in turn sits on a simple cast metal base containing the candle. The design makes visible the physics that enables the heat given by a tea light to create the mesmerising chaotic movement of the lava liquids.

Fireflow O1 can be used for 3 hours at any one time; the average burn time for one tea light.

Please note: this is not a toy. Do not leave product unattended with small children or adults. Please use a new tea light every time you use the product to avoid changing it whilst mid operation.
