Freshen your tea collection this spring with our earthy Cutty Sark Cargo Tea produced in collaboration with award-winning tea mixologists Bird & Blend Tea Co.

Cutty Sark Cargo Tea, a black tea inspired by the destinations the ship sailed to and the cargoes it carried. Built in 1869, Cutty Sark was specifically designed to carry tea from China to England as fast as possible – between 1870 and 1877, the ship carried almost 10 million lbs of tea. Alongside Chinese Yunnan black tea, our new blend contains cocoa shells, ginger and orange blossom, to give a hint of warmth and earthiness that evokes the spirit of the ship. These fragrant ingredients make for a subtly different tea that is sure to be enjoyed by those looking for a traditional cup with added depth and flavour.

The tea bags come in bold blue and orange packaging made from sturdy cardboard, ready to be reused or recycled. Each pack contains 30 plastic-free, biodegradable tea bags to make for easy preparation and eco-friendly disposal.

Bird & Blend Tea Co. They specialise in creating unusual and innovative tea blends, and sustainability is at the heart of their business – in 2022 they received BCorp certification. Their teas are blended and packed on the south coast of England, and they have a strong customer following in the UK due to their broad variety of flavours and eagerly awaited limited edition ranges.
