"This is a composite of 196 single images of the star Sirius. All the images were taken at same exposure with an interval of 3 seconds. The images were cropped and edited (exposure and vibrance adjusted in batch processing) with the same settings in Lightroom and composed together in Photoshop. Sirius was closer to horizon at the time of taking the images and thus showed a large variety in not only colours but also in brightness level. The star was slightly defocused intentionally to bring out the various colours."
