Our Porthole Cufflinks would make a lovely small gift to a dashing dresser. Portholes are circular windows seen on the sides of ships to allow fresh air and light in. It's believed they originated at the time of Henry VI who insisted on guns which were too big for the ship. To cater for the guns holes were cut into the side of ship with flaps so it could be closed in rough weather. Porthole designs have carried on to this day. Made from Rhodium and come with a presentation box.
