Astronomy Photographer of the Year is an annual competition featuring the world’s greatest space photography. Photographers from across the globe compete to take home the prestigious title.

"This is the Aurora Australis captured above the mountains in Queenstown, New Zealand. This is a 19-image panorama capturing all the fast moving beams that lit up the sky.I am especially proud of this image as the aurora came out of nowhere and I was the only person to capture this surprise display. Due to my understanding and following of how and when auroras occur, I was able to put myself in the right place at the right time. My astro modified camera caught all the pink hues of the aurora beams which makes for an incredibly dynamic final image.

Custom Prints are printed on sustainable, matt 250gsm conservation digital paper. Unframed prints are carefully rolled with acid free tissue paper inside a sturdy cardboard tube. Frames are made in the UK from sustainably-sourced woods.
