"In this photo, the Baihe River meanders in the Baihe Canyon and forms an arc to the north. At the same time, the autumn Milky Way arches over the whole northern sky. As it was the time when the Orion meteor shower was active, I was lucky enough to capture an Orion bolide [exceptionally bright] asteroid at the centre of the image. This was a gift for photographers capturing that night, a pleasant surprise for those who were chasing the Orion meteor shower. With an APS-C camera and a 20 mm lens, I captured over 30 images, merged them together and post-processed them with Photoshop." Chunlin Liu
