This Pirates exhibition stainless steel hip flask features a real leather wrap and the famous quote, "We must go on, because we can't turn back." 

The words are said by Captain Alexander Smollett, the skilled and courageous captain of the schooner Hispaniola in the novel Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. The compass illustration takes it's inspiration from the one shown on the treasure map from the book, which is featured in the exhibition.

  • Screw cap with hinge
  • Suitable for cold alcoholic drinks only
  • 9.5 cm width, 9cm height excluding cap (10.5 cm with), 2cm depth
  • Rinse the inside with clean, cold water before filling the flask for the first time.
  • Do not immerse the flask in the water but fill from a tap using the funnel
  • Always empty the flask after use and rinse it out with cold, clean water before refilling
  • Do not fill with acidic drinks
