A delicious chocolate ice cream for hungry astronauts! Since the Apollo mission, Nasa worked hard to develop space-friendly meals.
This process is like suspended animation, it keeps the ice cream perfectly intact, but it removes up to 98% of the water contained.
This may sound terrifying, but don’t panic! As you eat it, your mouth rehydrates it, restoring its original state and obviously flavour. Freeze drying is pure science, which allows food to last for many many years.
Produced in a facility that also processes peanuts, milk, soy, wheat, gluten, egg and tree nut ingredients.

Our team is very small and we work on dispatching orders in date order, as they are received. Only orders that have FedEx shipping applied can be shipped as priority.
We cannot promise delivery for Christmas where orders are placed after our last order dates shown below. Royal Museums Greenwich cannot accept responsibility for late delivery.
