Greenwich Brass Sundial Compass
A beautiful nautical compass and sundial. Made from solid brass, it is a portable instrument with a compass for alignment and a sundial on the lid.
Inscribed "Greenwich sundial", this makes a great gift from the home of time. Brass - an alloy of copper and zinc - is easy to work with, can be polished to a gleaming shine, and has a high degree of corrosion resistance, making it the traditional choice of metal for use in harsh marine environments.
