Product details
Astronomy Photographer of the Year is an annual competition featuring the world’s greatest space photography. Photographers from across the globe compete to take home the prestigious title.
"The Sh2-132 complex lies near the border of the Cepheus and Lacerta constellations and contains a veritable zoo of deep-sky objects. Here I have isolated what appears to be a divine light blinding a cosmic seahorse that perhaps swam a bit too far into the deep end. H-alpha, SII, and OIII signals are all quite strong here, and I tried to bring out a wider range of colours in a way that still looks natural to my eye. With nearly 70 hours of data, the rich interplay of all the gases shows me something different every time I look at this chaotic scene. The image was processed using the Hubble Palette in PixInsight." Aaron Wilhelm
Our Custom Prints and frames are all handmade to the highest standards. As each Custom Print and frame is made to your required specification, they take a little longer to prepare. Custom Prints are printed on sustainable, matt 250gsm conservation digital paper. Unframed prints are carefully rolled with acid free tissue paper inside a sturdy cardboard tube. Frames are made in the UK from sustainably-sourced woods.
Custom Prints (those which are customised by choosing a size and frame) are made to order and therefore take a little longer than our standard fulfilment times. Please read our Delivery and Returns page for our latest information about UK and international shipping.
Please check the size and frame options carefully so that you are happy as once ordered we will be unable to change.
